A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Hirex Water Damage sends licensed technicians straight to your Athens address with extraction equipment already loaded and running.
Hirex Water Damage started because homeowners in Athens, GA kept telling us the same story: a national hotline picked up, put them on hold, and then subcontracted the job out to whoever was cheapest and closest. Every technician on our Athens roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our crew leads carry IICRC water restoration certifications and have logged real hours on Category 1, 2, and 3 losses, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Athens isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. We carry full general liability coverage and are licensed to operate throughout Athens, GA, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
We keep a stocked warehouse inside Athens, GA so equipment never has to be trucked in from another region, which is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-day one.
Talk to a Athens property manager who's lived through an overnight pipe failure and they'll tell you exactly why a crew that arrives already equipped matters — every extra minute is more water in the framing. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Athens call at a time.
Not every leak announces itself with a flooded floor. A lot of the worst damage we see in Athens started small and got ignored for weeks. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If you're nodding along to any of these, get ahead of it now rather than later — our Athens dispatcher will give you an honest read on urgency, not a sales pitch.
Whether it's one bedroom carpet or an entire flooded commercial floor, our Athens crews scale the response to match the loss — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Truck-mounted extraction equipment on every Athens rig pulls high volumes of standing water fast, so drying starts the same day instead of the next. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once water is out, we bring in commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers, positioned using psychrometric readings rather than guesswork, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For families in Athens, this covers flood-cut drywall removal, subfloor evaluation, and packing out salvageable belongings for cleaning, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
For commercial Athens accounts, we assign a project lead, run crews after normal hours to reduce downtime, and bring equipment sized to the actual footprint — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
When a Athens job involves sewage backup, our team suits up in full PPE, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and safely disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
Every Athens job includes a preventive antimicrobial application, and if we spot conditions that need full remediation we tell you plainly instead of quietly hoping it clears up.
We quote the job before equipment gets plugged in, so there's no surprise line item buried in the final invoice.
Our Athens, GA warehouse keeps drying equipment close, which typically puts a Athens tech at your door inside an hour.
Our paperwork is built to match what adjusters expect, and we'll speak with your insurer directly on your behalf.
If moisture readings aren't where they should be at the end of the job, we come back and keep drying at no extra charge.
A short call with our Athens dispatcher tells us whether this is a one-room job or a multi-crew response before anyone drives out.
A licensed technician heads to your Athens address with extraction and drying equipment already loaded.
Extraction happens immediately, followed by a moisture survey that tells us precisely where the drying equipment needs to go.
We re-check moisture levels daily until materials hit dry standard, then hand you full documentation for your records or your insurer.
We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and we won't sign off on a Athens job until those readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
We put that guarantee directly on the Athens work order, not just in an ad. A repeat visit under this guarantee doesn't mean starting over — we pull the original moisture logs and pick up exactly where the last visit left off.
